Diverse Vinyl and its sister company Diverse Music are among the last independent vinyl music shops left in South Wales.
They kept their faith that analogue vinyl music would always be needed in the world, and came through the dark days of the late 20th century to enjoy the huge audiophile revival of interest in the format. Today the small, friendly shop on Charles Street has a great selection of records to browse, and a mail order business for clients in the UK and internationally.
Diverse Vinyl are key to the organisation of the free music events that celebrate Record Store Day on 13th April.
They also will have a range of unique records available for purchase only on that day. The shop opens at 9.30am but expect queues to form from early morning. To find out more about Diverse Vinyl click this link, or to see what is being sold on Record Store Day click here.
