Sculptor Sebastein Boysen talks about the inspiration behind his design for the statue.

Boysen was looking for a way to depict the legend of the vision of St Gwynllw, in which the saint is told to build a church where he encountered a white ox.  The bell is a symbol of the act of faith for Boysen, and the ox is of a breed that existed in Wales around 2000 years ago.
