show transcript

Sculptor Sebastien Boysen reads how Gwynllw was given a heavenly vision in his sleep, and told to give up his crown and build a church where he found a white ox with a black spot below its horns.

The saint carried out the command, and was happy that his new land would be fruitful.  Gwynllw built a church on this spot, ‘which he diligently visited with frequent prayers.’
