Roy on tolerance

show transcript

Roy Mackpenfield Grant, the youngest black Caribbean to migrate to Newport, explains why Newport is worth envying.

Roy talks about why he chose Newport as a place to settle, and suggests that the city has achieved a high level of tolerance.  He believes that immigration has allowed Newport to develop faster than it might otherwise have done, and that other cities are envious of Newport’s success in this field.
