Where there's water there's bridges!
Newport is no exception. Through the city you will find seven bridges over the river Usk including the Grade-I listed Transporter Bridge.
With its long metal legs reaching up to the horizontal gantry, it is one of a tiny handful of such bridges left in the world, and one of the very few still in working condition.
